Beumer’s Fillpack R offers fast, accurate bag filling

Beumer has expanded its product portfolio with the Fillpac R rotating filling machine, which has the capacity to fill up to 6,000 bags per hour using the latest technology to cater for all common bag types. The Fillpac R can fill woven polypropylene bags and is fitted with an automatic bag weight-correcting device to automatically adjust the weight of subsequent bags.
New technical centre boosts CMS Cepcor

Crusher spares specialist CMS Cepcor has opened a new technical centre at Coalville in the UK and has now transferred its Baguley Precision Engineering business into the newly formed Precision Services Division. The company has moved machine servicing from Burton-on-Trent to the new technical centre and retained all the engineering staff. Within the centre is a CNC manufacturing capability, which will enhance the manufacturing, inspection and repair facilities at Coalville.
Upgraded Terex TR60 moves to Scania power

Terex has updated its popular TR60 rigid dump truck with a Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim Scania DC16 engine delivering 515kW. This engine provides 5% more torque than previously and is equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR).

Caterpillar continues to build its mining shovel business with the launch of the 6020B, a 220tonne model offering a 22tonne bucket payload, which makes it an ideal match for the 777G rigid dump truck. The machine has a large operator’s cab with three seats, enough for a trainer and an observer, which is said to be a first in this size class.
VF Venieri claims a first for its multi-functional backhoe loader

VF Venieri claims that its new articulated backhoe loader, the 823E, is the only such machine on the market which is hydrostatic and multi-functional. “This machine will be ideal for local authorities and contractors who want one machine that can do many tasks,” said VF Venieri managing director Filippo Muccinelli. As with all its machines, the back hoe has hydrostatic transmission, which brings with it a number of advantages, according to Venieri.

Cat adds AP300D to paver family

Caterpillar has added the AP300D wheeled paver to its range, providing a highly mobile, compact machine that is said to be ideal for car parks, urban streets, cycle and walking paths. Weighing 7,400kg, the machine is easy to transport yet offers a paving range of 1.7-3.2m wide. With extensions, the AP300D can pave up to 4m widths. A tight turning circle and a rapid 16km/h travel speeds make it easy to navigate the machine around the job site.
Dressta offers Stage IIIB dozers

Polish manufacturer Dressta, now owned by LiuGong, has updated the engine in its TD14R dozer to bring the machine into line with recent emissions regulations. The TD14R is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 engine delivering 119kW. The 18.7tonne dozer is available in standard, long and low ground pressure track models, with a three-point suspension system to maintain tractive effort on rough ground.
