Versatility is a key feature of Hitachi’s latest ZXW7 wheeled excavator models. These short-tail swing ZX135W-7, ZX175W-7 and ZX220W-7 are said to be able to handle a wide variety of applications. Attachments can be transported with the optional trailer package, and can be changed easily using the attachment support system. The 52tonne machine from the Turkish manufacturer has a 3.2m³ bucket capacity and a maximum digging depth of 6.48m and a digging reach of up to 10.77m. It is powered by a six-cylinder, 270kW Isuzu AQ-6UZ1X engine.
