Manitowoc is showcasing two new products on its stand at Intermat: a lift for tower crane operators, the Potain Cab-In, and its 75 High Performance Lifting (HPL) winch for tower cranes. Deutz to offer diesel and LPG at 2.2litres

Deutz is to extend its lower powered engine line-up with an all-new three-cylinder unit based on the four-cylinder TCD2.9. Called the TCD2.2, this smaller engine will be rated from 22-56kW and will be available as a diesel-fuelled or LPG fuelled power unit, the latter badged G2.2. In addition, the larger TCD2.9 will also be available as an LPG engine and badged as the G2.9.
ShareMat launches system to maximise use of equipment

The system comprises a small location and operation detection and transmitting device and a software platform to manage the rental arrangements. A pan-European research project is investigating the use of electro-fragmentation to help recycle fibre-reinforced concrete (FRC). ATG group’s tyre company Galaxy has launched its first range of radial off-road tyres at Intermat Paris 2018, which it says are for high-pressure job sites. 2019 launch for Mecalac’s all-electric e12 excavator

By the middle of 2019, Mecalac’s all-electric e12 wheel excavator will be ready for delivery, according to Alexandre Marchetta, director general of the family business.
