Breaker specialist Montabert has increased its budget offering with a new two-speed unit and additions to its Blue Line. By restricting the speed choice to two, the new V3500 breaker (suitable for carriers from 35 to 60tonnes) is around 20% cheaper than its full-spec multi-speed counterpart while still allowing the machine operator the choice between maximum speed and maximum impact power. MB Dustcontrol is launching at Intermat 2012 its new range of Dust Suppression SprayCannon units for demolition, recycling, quarrying and handling of bulk material applications. The range contains solutions to diminish the emissions of dust in both inside and outside work areas. The mechanism consists of binding dust particles with droplets of water (fog) sprayed from the SprayCannon. The water droplets weigh down the dust particles, which fall more quickly to the ground through gravity.

Montabert is introducing two new models to its Blue Line entry-level range of hydraulic breakers. The XL1000 and XL1300 are aimed at road building, utilities and trenching applications. The Blue Line is designed to be simple and robust, with a competitive price. Montabert developed the range to meet the needs of customers who put price first. The range is seen as particularly useful for the rental market and for use in construction and demolition.

SDMO Industries describes its new R1650C power generator as the “marriage of power and compactness in a single machine”. The new model in the French company’s Rental Power range, the R1650C brings together back-up power of 1,650kVA (1,200kW), and the compactness of a 6.09m container.

SDMO Industries is hoping its expanded line of rental compact power generators, being unveiled at INTERMAT 2012, will bring commercial success. The R275C3 and R330C3 Rental Compact models will come onto the market after the show, with the R450C3 and R550C3 available from June 2012. It will allow SDMO to offer Rental Compact machines from R16C3 up to R550C3.
