Distributor Cap Minerals is showing the latest model of the V12 dust controller, whose manufacturer is EmiControls by TechnoAlpin. Applications include working with primary crushers and stockpiles as well as in construction and demolition. The machine can be put on wheels or even mounted on a tower. Idromeccanica Ramtec brought two models from its expanded hammer range to INTERMAT. Models such as the RT 1600 and RT 590 brought to the show have additional features but also retain proven aspects of the earlier models, which remain available. Changes in the latest models include improved noise levels and compatibility with a larger range of excavators. The latest models also absorb vibrations at the arm of the excavator to a greater degree than in the past.

Shantui adds to European fork lift line-up

Shantui has continued to expand its European CE-marked equipment line with the introduction of the SF30 fork lift. With a 3tonne lift capacity, the SF30 has an operating weight of 4.5tonnes. Power is provided by a 37kW Isuzu engine. The company offers fork lifts with capacities of 2-3tonnes on single front wheels and 5-10tonnes with twin front wheels. The SF30 is the first model in the line to use a European-specification engine, though additional machines will be added later in the year.

JCB 8018 CTS offers improved performance in 1.5tonne mini sector

JCB has updated its 1.5tonne 8018 CTS mini excavator. The conventional tailswing machine has an improved lift capacity, thanks to a return to a box-section boom, with an 11% increase in digging depth. Dump height and reach are also improved, and the mini has a new dozer blade for greater pushing performance. Upgraded hydraulics, with longer travel valves increase control and allow straight line tracking while using upper structure functions.
