Sany is showcasing its recently launched stationary concrete pump machines at Intermat 2012 alongside its new truck-mounted models. The HBT 80C-1818, one of the firm’s two stationary models to be featured in the exhibition, has a powerful 170kW, and despite only coming onto the market in recent months, is already in demand on the world’s construction sites.

The model’s sturdy self-supporting basic frame has supporting arms at the front which have dual telescoping capability. Italian foundation specialist Soilmec has added two rigs to its piling range. The SF-65 replaces the previous SF-70 and answers customer requests for added versatility. The continuous flight auger (CFA) rig allows operators to drill all around the machine without having to relocate the tracks to bore at the corners as before. Powered by a 205kW diesel engine, the SF-65 can handle 1,000mm diameters to a depth of 27m.

Rapid International is back at INTERMAT for the first time in 12 years with a focus on its Rapid Planetary Mixer. Putzmeister’s new BSC 1409 D self-propelled concrete pump is designed for concreting drilled piles on unfinished surfaces and can deliver up to 85m3/hr at a pressure of up to 71bar. Powered by a 6-cylinder Deutz engine producing 129kW, the BSC 1409 D can travel at a maximum speed of 3.6km and does not need supports to be set up each time it moves.
