Doka is playing a leading role in Denmark’s first ever public private partnership roadbuilding project. The 26km long, four-lane M51, 15km from the German border, will link Kliplev and Sønderborg in southern Jutland. And Doka will be the sole provider offormwork for the concrete used in erecting the motorway’s 72 bridges and crossings. The M51 is using 9000m² of the extremely adaptable Large-area formwork Top 50, and more than 4,750 basic frames of the heavyduty Load-bearing tower Staxo 100 system.

Deutz has unveiled its latest range of 2.9-16litre EU emission standard diesel engines. The TCD 2.9 L4 is available in either naturally aspirated or turbocharged versions, each with the optional extra of an intercooler. It features cooled external exhaust-gas recirculation and common-rail high-pressure fuel injection. Generating up to 55.4KW, the TCD 2.9 L4's maximum torque of 255Nm is up to 15% higher than comparable Tier 3 engines.

The new VB9-LED from Tower Light is economical, low maintainance and eco-conscious, according to the company. The lighting tower comes with a nine-metre vertical mast tted with energy saving LED lamps, rather than traditional metal halide lights. Jetpatcher UK will allow British local authorities to make "unprecedented" savings when repairing potholes on many of their less congested roads, according to its manufacturer Nu-Phalt. Built for rural highway repairs, theself-contained Jetpatcher clears the pothole using compressed air before applying tack coating and lling the pothole with mixture of aggregate and bitumen. A Norwegian sand producer has improved material quality since it began using a new washing plant from CDE. Reddal Sand's new plant has resulted in a significant improvement in the quality of the product from its site in the South of Norway. Reddal Sand is located in Grimstad, Aust-Agder and has supplied a variety of construction materials to major projects in the area since 1989, including materials for use in concrete, road construction and various types of groundworks.

Sennebogen's 6130 HD duty cycle crawler crane has received praise for its mining work in central Germany. The machine, which comes with drag shovel and a 5.6m³ dragline, has been extracting 2,500m³ of gravel/day. The crawler crane's 29.9m boom is used to pour material over a large heap before it is sieved after a short drying period and transported on with a HGV.
