Debut of new Magna E4 tyre and affordable brand

Magna Tyres showed its new M-Terrain tyre for articulated dump trucks – its first E4 rated product – for the first time at INTERMAT 2015. And it introduced its new MTP affordable tyre brand. The M-Terrain tyre is available as a 29.5 R25 size and joins the company’s range of tyres in this size and pattern, including the MA02 (E3+/L3+ tread), MA05 and MA08 (both L5 treads) and MA05S (L5 smooth tread). M-Terrain adds a choice of the more aggressive E4 tread pattern for improved traction in challenging off-road
JLG makes its 100,000th telehandler

JLG industries has produced its 100,000th telehandler. To mark the event, the company decorated the machine with 100,000 logos and unveiled it on its Intermat stand in Paris. The 4017RS unit will be auctioned off during a gala invitation-only event that will take place in Europe in early October. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the buyer’s charity of choice.
Volvo lines up its SDLG brand for greater global export sales

Volvo’s Chinese manufacturing subsidiary SDLG is making inroads into the export market and could be destined to play a much more important role in the Swedish group’s global strategy. “As we grow our export strategy there is an opportunity for SDLG to become an increasingly larger piece of our total revenue,” said Martin Weissburg, president of Volvo Construction Equipment.
ALLU’s new drum allows one screen to produce three different sizes

Vögele says that its Super 800-3i asphalt paver is more sophisticated than previous machines in this size class. Doosan announces the arrival its smallest 300-5 series wheel loader

INTERMAT sees the birth of Doosan’s latest arrival, the DL300-5 baby wheeled loader, the smallest machine in the South Korean firm’s DL-5 generation.
