Stephen Bullock, vice president of sales and marketing at Power Curbers said, “Stringless is really taking off and even in the last 6-8 months demand has increased drastically. Half of the 5700-Cs we’re quoting for are for stringless operation. It’s growing across the industry.”

Matest subsidiary Pavetest has launched the DTS-130, a 130kN servo-hydraulic dynamic testing system. Deutz sees first quarter orders drop but profits rise

Deutz, the German motor manufacturer, reported first quarter 2015 new orders down 22.5%, but profit rose slightly on the same period last year. A Deutz statement said new orders received for the first three months totalled €321 million, down from €414.2 million last year.

It’s an option we can supply with our hoist.” The hoist operates conventionally when raising its load, however when the platform descends its switches over to generator mode. Total’s automotive division was demonstrating its new Lube-Shuttle system for applying grease at Intermat 2015. Having developed four different application methods in the agricultural sector, Total is now looking to launch it in the construction plant sector, said director Rafael Roux. LiuGong’s 856H wheeled loader with “new LiuGong DNA” is being showcased at INTERMAT 2015 for the first time in Europe in Tier 4 Final/Stage IV configuration. “The H-Series [wheeled loaders] has been completely designed to work efficiently, and to be easy to service and maintain,” said David Beatenbough, LiuGong’s vice president. “This is the first machine to display our new LiuGong DNA. Over the coming months and years you’ll see machines with the same visual cues as the 856H.”
