Tecnotest has powerful new touch screen

Materials testing equipment manufacturer Tecnotest has launched a powerful new touch-screen display unit, Touchtronic. “We were not the first to introduce the touch screen, but this has given us the opportunity to see what other firms provide and to enhance it,” said Tecnotest overseas and regional European sales manager Patricia Sarson.

JLG launches new telehandler

JLG International has launched a new telehandler, the 250S. “We updated the machine in order to comply with the new emissions regulations,” said JLG marketing communications manager Xenia Kolijn. The telehandler has a Deutz engine and complies with Tier 4 final, said Kolijn.
€15-20million investment shows Magni’s telehandler ambition

Magni Telescopic Handlers has ambitious plans to increase its share of the telehandler market after its €15-20million investment in machines, attachments and a new production facility. At bauma 2013, Magni has unveiled its RTH and HTH models. The RTH range consists of seven rotating telehandler models, and the HTH range of two heavy-duty machines for the mining and oil industry, with a further model in development.

Yanmar’s SV26 mini crawler excavator was launched at bauma 2013. Slim enough to fit in one lane of a road and weighing in at 2590kg, the SV26 can be transported on a small trailer or light vehicle. “Although it is a compact machine, it is very powerful,” said Yanmar spokesperson Anne Chatillon. Sany brings new crawler cranes to Europe

Sany has introduced three new crawler cranes to the European market, all bearing the CE mark. Largest of the trio brought to bauma is the 300tonne-capacity SCC 8300. It was joined by its smaller siblings, the SCC 8200 and SCC 8100, with capacities of 200tonnes and 100tonnes respectively.

New Holland upgrades dozers to Tier4i and improves control

New Holland is exhibiting the 17.9tonne operating weight D150CXLT dozer. It is one of a range of three dozers between 13 and 20tonnes using Tier4i engines fitted with SCR technology to achieve the emissions target and produce a 10.5% fuel saving. Turkish asphalt plant specialist E-Mak is supplying an innovative recycling system to a firm in Hamburg. The machine is a prototype and is still being developed, with indirect heating to ensure that the bitumen is not damaged during the recycling process.
