XCMG inks a deal with Sinopec to produce hydraulic fluids

MAN has revealed two new ranges of off-highway engines that are said to lay the foundation of its EU Stage V emissions regulation strategy. The two ranges include a six-cylinder 15.26 litre engine offering outputs from 415-485kW and a larger 24.24 litre V12 engine with power outputs from 588-816kW. Both meet Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emissions and are also said to be EU Stage V ready. New JCB mini excavators designed to reduce cost of ownership

A new line of JCB mini excavators has been designed to provide the expected productivity while lowering operating costs. “Really it’s all about the cost of ownership, and keeping that as low as we possibly can,” said Mick Sanders, product manager with JCB. The new mini excavators are the 48Z-I, 51R-I, 55Z-I and 57C-I. Weights range from 4792 kg to 5483 kg. In addition to low cost, the machines are designed to provide greater height and lift. Bucket and dipper tear-out have been improved as well.

Hyundai has seen strong sales in Europe 2015 and expects the growth trend to continue in 2016. Alain Worp, sales director for construction equipment at HHIE, says the company is also investing €30 million in building a new headquarters in Belgium, with its warehouse alone covering 13,000m2. “This project is expected to be finished by the end of 2016. It will be almost four times as big as the present facility,” he said.
