2012 sees the start of a new wheeled excavator programme from Liebherr, and the A916 represents the first fruit from the project. Replacing the A316 Litronic, the new A916 has been developed to meet Stage IIIB emissions requirements and has an operating weight from 17-18.1 tonnes depending on specification. Finland-based demolition machinery and linked attachment specialists Ramtec will showcase its Robi range CG20R crusher grapple at INTERMAT 2012.

New P-jaws make Ramtec’s Robi DG15RP demolition grapple ideal for recycling applications. The DG grapples are especially designed for light demolition projects such as wooden buildings, bricks, concrete without rebar, and for sorting and loading demolition debris in scrap yards.

First launched in 2001 but recently updated, Ramtec’s Robi MP19 multiprocessor can, as its title suggests, be applied to a wide range of demolition tasks.

JCB has added the high-capacity 550-80 Loadall to its telescopic handler line. The 550-80 is JCB’s highest capacity Loadall and it has been specifically designed for bulk handling operations in heavier duty applications such as loading duties with a bucket and materials recycling and waste handling operations.

Like other models in Hidromek’s crawler and wheeled excavator range, the HMK140W wheeled excavator has a new ‘Opera’ control system and cabin design, said by the firm to improve the comfort of the operator, while making the machine easier to handle.

Demonstrating superb manoeuvrability due to what its manufacturers Hidromek say is its “compact but powerful” design, the HMK62SS mini backhoe loader’s additional auxiliary hydraulic lines make it ideal for working in urban constructions and agricultural applications where space is often limited.
