Terex cranes ordered by Singapore-based rental firm and distributor

Singapore-based tower crane rental company and Terex tower cranes distributor Crane World Asia (CWA) recently ordered 31 Terex CTL 260-18 luffing jib tower cranes In addition, the firm also ordered three Terex CDK 100-16 luffing jib derrick cranes. Meanwhile, a batch of nine Terex CTL 630B-32 luffing jib tower cranes, as well as one CTL 650F-45 luffing jib tower crane, will be delivered to South Korea later this year.
Demag/Terex crane orders in the Middle East

Terex has won major crane orders from customers in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Saudi Arabian crane rental company, Arabian Consolidated Trading (ACT Crane & Heavy Equipment), is expanding its crane fleet with a recent order for four Demag AC 160-5, two AC 300-6 all-terrain cranes and four Terex RT 90 rough terrain cranes. A tandem crane lift has been carried out in Kuwait on a major project in using Demag machines from Terex. The two machines have been used on the Kuwaiti government's Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Causeway Project. Investigators and rescuers in the northern Italian city of Genoa are scouring the wreckage of a cable stayed motorway bridge that collapsed, killing at least 35 people. A tower collapsed and then a 209m section – the longest - plummeted to the river and train tracks below at around 11:30 during heavy rain, media sources said. Controversial Russian bridge opens

The first stage of a controversial Russian bridge project is now complete, with the link having been opened to use by cars and buses. The Kerch Strait bridge spans the Black Sea, connecting Russia’s Taman Peninsula in Krasnodar with Crimea, the latter having been controversially annexed by Russia from Ukraine in 2014. The official opening of the 19km-long bridge was carried out by Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, who drove across the link in a Russian-manufactured Kamaz truck to reach the city of Kerch.

The 84-year-old Acton Swing Bridge in the UK recently underwent a major renovation that included the use of Aggregates Industries’ Lytag lightweight concrete.
