Installation takes 30% less time and the new system is more adaptable and user-friendly, reducing downtime for plant hire companies and contractors.

The solution retains the capabilities of earlier version, including height and slew restriction, Rated Capacity Indicator (RCI), and the full suite of Xwatch safety features across the XW1, XW2, XW3, XW4, and XW5 models.

Simex has released the new GEN II version of its ART 1000 patented technology for in-situ regeneration of deteriorated asphalt.

Simex ART technology focuses on surface-level interventions for the functional recovery of road deterioration. Volvo Construction Equipment is introducing a new seven model ADT range, which includes the 45tonne capacity A50 that slots into the range between the proven A45 and A60 models.

The firm’s president, Melker Jernberg says that these new ADTs offer a range of major gains over the models being replaced. New transmissions help to reduce fuel consumption by up to 15% and coupled with the faster cycle times, this should help lower the cost/tonne for customers according to the firm.

The new HD130 offers fully electrohydraulic controls and 2D blade dozing assist function as standard. Cummins  Next Generation X15 engine for off-highway applications is a scaled model of the QSK60 engine for mining.

Wirtgen says that its new W 210 XF large milling machine is highly efficient, and suits duties in challenging jobs. High-performance and efficiency are claimed and the machine can be used for milling widths of 2-2.5m and to depths of 330mm. The W 210 XF is said to suit a range of duties such as surface layer rehabilitation, complete pavement removal and fine milling work.
