Cifa has added to its Energya range of electric plant with the new E10 concrete mixer. Pairing it with the new Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 electric truck, Cifa offers the possibility of zero-emissions concrete delivery.

Since the mixer and truck are powered independently from different batteries, the mixer could be combined with any type of truck, explains Cifa CEO Davide Cipolla: “It may be more practical for the mixer to be mounted on a diesel or gas truck, which would still mean it could be zero emissions on the job site.”

Sandvik Mobile Crushing and Screening has launched the QH443E tracked cone crusher.  

The new electric unit has been designed with a focus on sustainability and productivity in heavy-duty applications.

The new QH443E is Sandvik’s flagship Q-Range electric-driven cone plant. The manufacturer says it takes a significant step towards bridging the gap between tracked mobile, wheeled portable, and stationary plants by combining electric drives and track mobility on a single platform.

Indeco has launched a heavy-weight jaw attachment, the IDC 70. Designed for demolition of reinforced concrete structures, the jaw can be fitted on excavators of 70 tonnes and above.

Indeco spent six months developing the jaw, working to optimise its weight-to-power ratio and adding features designed to reduce maintenance and increase productivity. Weighing in at 7200kg, 3.35m long and 0.65m wide, the IDC 70 has a maximum jaw opening of 1.8m, which the Italian manufacturer says beats rival products in the same class.

Trimble has demonstrated its revolutionary autonomous machine technology.

The US software, hardware and services technology company showed off the tech with a driverless Kobelco SK 210 excavator being overseen by the operator of a Bomag BW213 BVC compactor.

The innovative BOMAP Pave solution offers connected construction capabilities for paving works. BOMAG’s new system allows networking of pavers and rollers, boosting efficiency and quality in asphalt paving jobs.

Pavers and asphalt rollers can be connected within an open, manufacturer-independent system. This allows control of the paving process from asphalt delivery to compaction. It provides users with full transparency in real time, reducing coordination effort and sustainably improving site processes.

Ammann is offering a new range of pavers, with its all-electric eABG4820 model taking centre stage. Also new is the ABG5420 paver, which benefits from a series of performance upgrades while retaining the firm’s highly effective screed design.

It blends artificial intelligence and gamified ergonomics with autonomous and remote- operation capabilities.

The concept introduces what Hitachi calls “phygital” controls and digital interfaces to create an intuitive operator environment. The design features a modular cab with intuitive ergonomics specifically geared to appeal to the next-generation workforce through gamifying operations and AI-assisted interfaces.
