New South Poland dual carriageway

A new dual carriageway will connect the towns of Legnica and Lubawka in southern Poland. Funding for the project is being supplied by the EU in the shape of a subsidy worth €440.85 million. The S3 dual carriageway project is important for southern Poland as Lubawka lies close to the border with the Czech Republic. A new dual carriageway will connect the towns of Legnica and Lubawka in southern Poland. Funding for the project is being supplied by the EU in the shape of a subsidy worth €440.85 million. The S3 dual carriageway project is important for southern Poland as Lubawka lies close to the border with the Czech Republic. Building this new dual carriageway will provide a new link between the two countries. In all the dual carriageway construction work is expected to cost €919 million, with the work due for completion at the end of the second quarter of 2023.
