Indonesia toll projects Work on a 39km toll road linking Pemalang with Batang in Indonesia is expected to start in mid-2012, although the finance structure is still being established.
A series of major bridge projects are underway in Russia, in the Krasnodar Region, Novosibirsk and the Surgut District. A new bridge being built in the Krasnodar Region is expected to be open to vehicle traffic at the end of 2018. Work on the bridge supports is being completed at present and work on the deck is now underway. The bridge will also carry rail traffic from the end of 2019.

Plans are in hand for a US$616.6 million highway project in Yibin, China. China Roads, Xingtai Road and Bridge Construction and Sichuan Yibin Yili Group have signed concession and investment agreements for the Yibin-Yiliang and Yibin highways with the authorities in the city of Yibin. The Indonesian Government is looking to source funding for a key highway project from the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The funding will be used for the highway connecting North and East Kalimantan. This project is expected to cost US$250 million.
