Work is progressing well on the Beska Bridge over the Danube River in Serbia.

Work is progressing well on the Beska Bridge over the Danube River in Serbia. Over 80% of the work for the 2.25km long bridge has now has been completed. Once it is complete, the bridge will form a key link in the Corridor 10 highway. In addition around 180km of the Corridor 10 motorway will be built in Serbia during 2011, running from Subotica through Novi Sad, Belgrade, Nis and Dimitrovgrad towards Vranje.

    Serbia is planning to speed construction of its highway network. A key project being prioritised is the Corridor 10 motorway, which is due for completion by September 2016. Another priority project is for Corridor 11 and for several regional road routes. At present the Corridor 10 sections between Sid and Belgrade, and Subotica and Belgrade have been built, while work on the 22km Ipsilon stretch between Subotica and Kelebija is underway.
