Spanish Government has US$809.37 million of road project tenders

Brazil motorway concessionaire Arteris, formerly OHL Brasil, could spend up to US$2.26 billion (BRL 4.5bn) by 2017, instead of an initially planned BRL 3.5 billion. New road to connect Kenya with South Sudan

Plans are in hand for work to construct a new road to connect the newly independent South Sudan with Kenya. This 930km road will run from Eldoret in Kenya to Juba in South Sudan and is expected to cost in the region of US$1.06 billion. Tower Light’s new VT- Hybrid lighting tower, said to utilise modern LED lighting with an advanced battery power/diesel system and auto charging technology, will be unveiled at bauma 2013. The battery on VT-Hybrid is said to have 4,000 hours life, and the generator engine consumes 0.5litres per hour when in use. Tower Lights says fuel usage is so low that the set can run for over 500 hours on one tank of fuel.
