Bauma 2013 will see the former Waitzinger concrete pump range in Liebherr livery for the first time, following the purchase of the company in October 2012. Liebherr will show four pumps, including the compact 41 M5XXT and the high capacity THP 160H/36 R4XXH. This truck-mounted pump has a four-section 36m boom yet sits on the narrow XXH outrigger supports and is capable of handling up to 160m3/h of concrete delivery.

Element Six, the synthetic diamond division of DeBeers, has developed a revised design for its D Power road picks, claiming greatly extended working life. The D Power road pick will use a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tip with an improved head design that incorporates tungsten carbide to provide greater protection to the steel pick mount. Swedish bucket tooth, cutting edge and bucket protection producer Combi Wear Parts will introduce adapters, teeth and lip shrouds for excavator buckets in the 200-250 tonne class. Designed for cutting edges of both 120mm and 140mm lip thickness , the adapters are built to work with 60-90kg teeth. Hatz Diesel will take the wraps off a new engine family at Bauma, with the launch of the H series, a 2.0–litre water-cooled engine family that features Bosch common rail fuel injection with pressures up to 1,800 bar.
