During a road rage incident in Australia, a driver experienced a terrifying journey due to the behaviour of a man at the wheel of another vehicle. Dashcam footage from the driver of the car being pursued shows the other vehicle repeatedly swerving in front and braking hard. A Russian skateboarder had a very close call when being filmed in a high speed stunt by a friend. The skateboarder was descending a twisty road and travelling at some speed but misjudged a corner, cutting it too tightly and crashing head-on into an oncoming car. Luckily he did not suffer injuries more serious than cuts and bruises as well as a dented ego and the vehicle was also undamaged.

A motorcyclist in the UK city of Newcastle came close to having his bike stolen by persistent and rather stupid thieves. The biker had just entered a main road from a roundabout when he spotted a bicycle lying in the middle of the roadway. Realising it posed a hazard to traffic on the busy road, he pulled to a halt and went back to remove the abandoned bicycle. A Chinese driver became so angry with the faults in his newly acquired VW that he drove back to the dealership where he had bought the car and crashed it through the front window. The man had returned to the dealership on a number of occasions to have faults repaired under warranty. Indonesia road funding found for two highways

Financing looks to have been secured for major tolled highway projects in Indonesia. These highways are the 129km Pekan Baru-Dumai route, which forms part of the Trans-Sumatra highway, the 60.5km Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumwadu) road and the 39km Manado-Bitung route. The project to construct a new ring road around Peru’s capital Lima is facing a difficult tangle that has to be unravelled. However the contractor tasked with the construction work, Grupo Ferrovial, is hoping to be able to make up time and start work in January 2017.
