Rolls-Royce has received its first order for large industrial diesel engines from a customer in China. The order is for Series 4000 MTU engines, which meet the Tier 4 Final emissions regulations. Key customer Jereh Petroleum Equipment has ordered 16 of the MTU 12V 4000 T95 diesels for industrial purposes. Singapore-based tower crane rental company and Terex tower cranes distributor Crane World Asia (CWA) recently ordered 31 Terex CTL 260-18 luffing jib tower cranes In addition, the firm also ordered three Terex CDK 100-16 luffing jib derrick cranes. Meanwhile, a batch of nine Terex CTL 630B-32 luffing jib tower cranes, as well as one CTL 650F-45 luffing jib tower crane, will be delivered to South Korea later this year.

XCMG is now offering its 700tonne class hydraulic excavator to the extraction sector. The machine is the largest hydraulic excavator currently built in China and is powered by twin diesels, rated at 1,270kW each.
