Doka’s new UniKit is a modular shoring system for heavy civil engineering applications. Designed to be quick and easy to erect in a number of different configurations, UniKit provides a steel-girder like structure which can support loads from bridge deck or beam concrete pours. “It’s an efficient way to construct infrastructure without stopping existing infrastructure – such as roads – running underneath,” said Doka’s director of research and development Johann Peneder.

Skyjack has unveiled its tallest scissor lift to date. The SJIII 4740 has a working height of 13.8 m and is the first Skyjack product to enter the machine class. “The biggest advantage is the height,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack. Customers have increasingly asked for a product with a higher reach, in part because facilities have undergone significant changes.

New from Doosan is the DL250 Tc-5 wheeled loader. Weighing in at just over 14tonnes, this machine is equipped with a parallel front end system instead of a Z-bar linkage. This configuration is said to optimise its versatility, allowing it to be used for a wider range of duties. Power comes from an emissions compliant diesel delivering 128kW at 2,100rpm. The machine can deliver 102kN of bucket force and features a tipping load of 8.2tonnes at 40°.

Indeco has totally redesigned its ISS steel shears. You need only look at 2015 for an answer. “Globally, we expect the market to be close to 2015, with some differences in individual markets,” said Alexandre Saubot, chief operating offer at Haulotte Group.
