TowerLight is increasing its presence in the site security market with the launch of the Security Tower. Based on the firm’s four-head LED lighting tower, the machine is equipped with a wireless camera system that can provide secure video of the site in daylight and at night. The tower is currently available on a skid base, with fork pockets and crane hook, but will also be produced on a wheeled chassis.

Italian crusher manufacturer REV has updated its Zeffiro GCV80 crusher, with a Stage IIIB Caterpillar engine, improved electrics and additional safety guards on the conveyors. Designed primarily for the demolition and recycling industry, the machine uses a 130kW version of the Cat C6.6 motor, driving through a variable displacement load sensing hydraulic system.

Chinese manufacturer Sany Heavy Industry has introduced a five-model crawler excavator range to the European market. The C Series excavators range in operating weight from the 7.5tonne SY75C to the 35.5tonne SY335C, with models at 13.5tonnes, 21.5tonnes and 23.5tonnes. The machines are powered by Stage IIIB Isuzu and Mitsubishi engines. To address the needs of the off-road market, Scania has added bigger non-slip steps, an additional step for windscreen cleaning and light guards to its off-road range of tractive units and multi wheelers. As an option the chassis can be supplied with factory-fitted PTO hydraulics and tank to power tipper rams or similar.

While draglines are now a rarity, Sennebogen showed its 50tonne operating weight duty cycle crawler crane, the 650HD, with 2.33 dragline bucket. The machine is one of a 10-model range with operating weights from 20-180tonnes and engines between 119 and 708kW. It can be used in civil engineering, mining, demolition or material handling.

Rokster Recycler has developed its smallest mobile crusher to date, the R700S. Weighing in at 22tonnes when equipped with a screen box, or 19.3 tonnes without, the crusher can be transported as a single unit by truck. Zoomlion is celebrating a successful visit to INTERMAT after selling both the tower crane and the crawler crane that it brought to the show. The T320-16 tower crane has been sold to Germany rental company Streif Baulogistik, which operates a fleet of hundreds of cranes in Germany and Poland. Through the reintroduction of Sandvik-owned Rammer-branded products, the company says it will be able to serve a wider customer base by using differing breaker-focused distribution channels. Sunward is keen to further develop its dealership coverage within Europe, which the firm sees as being crucial to increasing its sales. The company is already present in the European market and is actively boosting its profile, as Dr He Qinghua, chairman of the Sunward Equipment Group and also director of the company’s research and development centre, explained. He said, “We have some dealers in Europe and we are planning to enlarge the number of them.”

Element Six says that its D Power road pick has 40 times the life of a standard pick and gives smoother surfaces.
