Paraguay’s new highway project receiving funding

Funding for a major highway project in Paraguay will be provided by Japan's International Co-operation Agency (JICA).

Funding for a major highway project in Paraguay will be provided by Japan's International Co-operation Agency (6706 JICA). The project will cost US$176 million and involves building a 147km connection between the town of Natalio and the Los Cedrales District. The bids for the contract were announced in April 2017.

    A new stretch of highway is now open to traffic in Nepal. The Nepalthok-Khurkot Road recently had its official opening. Some US$46.2 million was spent on the section of highway, with much of the funding being provided by the Japanese Government.
