Vietnam: investment permit for Highway 18's Ha Long-Mong Duong section

A joint venture between Phuong Thanh Investment and Construction (Phuong Thanh) and Cong Thanh Investment and Construction (Cong Thanh) has received an investment licence from Quang Ninh province, Vietnam to upgrade the National Highway 18's Ha Long-Mong Duong section.

A joint venture between Phuong Thanh Investment and Construction (Phuong Thanh) and Cong Thanh Investment and Construction (Cong Thanh) has received an investment licence from Quang Ninh province, Vietnam to upgrade the National Highway 18's Ha Long-Mong Duong section.

The licence is also for developing the Ha Long-Van Don expressway.

Completion of the project is scheduled by end-2017.

The joint venture will invest close to $622.6 million in the build-operate-transfer (BOT) development.
