Polish road tender underway

Plans are underway for the Warsaw Ring Road project in Poland. Italian contractor Astaldi made the lowest offer for the project at €289.95 million. The work calls for a 4.6km section of the route to be constructed, including what will be Poland’s longest road tunnel once complete. There have been 10 bidders for the tender, being handled by the Polish road authority GDDKiA. Other bidders included the Porr Polska consortium and a construction consortium comprising contractors Budimex and Strabag.

Plans are underway for the Warsaw Ring Road project in Poland. Italian contractor 1324 Astaldi made the lowest offer for the project at €289.95 million. The work calls for a 4.6km section of the route to be constructed, including what will be Poland’s longest road tunnel once complete. There have been 10 bidders for the tender, being handled by the Polish road authority 1361 GDDKiA. Other bidders included the 3976 Porr Polska consortium and a construction consortium comprising contractors 3302 Budimex and 945 Strabag.

    Polish contractor Budimex has won a tender to build a 20km-long section of the S61 dual carriageway in Poland. The section runs from the Wysokie junction to Raczki, the national highways authority GDDKiA announced. Budimex bid just over €484 million for the 29-month design-build contract.
