Polish projects to go to tender

A series of important Polish road projects will be opening for tender shortly. In all the nine projects will be worth €603.3 million and stretch for a total of 138km. These project tenders will be announced by e Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) before the end of 2018. The work includes improvements to the DK 18 National Road as well as ring roads for the cities of Nowy Sacz, Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Zawiercie and Poreba.

A series of important Polish road projects will be opening for tender shortly. In all the nine projects will be worth €603.3 million and stretch for a total of 138km. The work includes improvements to the DK 18 National Road as well as ring roads for the cities of Nowy Sacz, Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Zawiercie and Poreba.

    The Polish road and motorways authority GDDKiA plans to award a series of maintenance contracts to private operators up to the end of 2017. An additional €482.23 million will be allocated through outsourcing during the period. The contracts will be for an average of five years, and payment will be subject to the quality of the service delivered. Currently 1,219km of roads and motorways are maintained by private operators, with the total value of contracts being worth around €265.23 million. According to cal
