Poland to get more EU funds for the S1 Expressway

Poland has secured nearly €325 million from the European Union for construction of the S1 expressway between the junctions of Przybedz Milowka.  Poland has secured nearly €325 million from the 1116 European Union for construction of the S1 expressway between the junctions of Przybedz Milowka.

The deal was signed with the regional government of the Silesia voivodeship.

The Expressway S1 with a planned length of 130km, runs through the Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. Upon completion, it will connect the A1 motorway near the Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice with the A4 motorway and the border of Slovakia in Zwardoń along with the D3 Motorway in Slovakia.
