1141 SIMEX, the Italian manufacturer of attachments for earthmoving machines, says that 2010 closed with highly satisfactory sales result, and it now plans to show its entire product range.
The company is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
With a production of some 2,000 units in 2012 subdivided into 65 models produced in more than 210 versions, Simex today exports about 80% of its own production. Born in 1991 in San Giovanni in Persiceto, Emilia Romagna, the company soon set about achieving its goal of manufacturing high quality equipment for earth moving prime movers. Starting with asphalt planers for backhoe loaders, asphalt and concrete planers were soon manufactured by Simex for skid steer loaders too.

Italian firm Simex has developed a versatile tool for use in tunnel excavation applications. This proven piece of equipment has been used to help construct a key tunnel link in Italy, close to the border with Switzerland. Work on the Varzo Tunnel has been carried out by Italian contractor Ceprini Costruzioni (CC).
