Safety in numbers: 20 of the Doosan DA40s head for Hæhre & Isachsen Maskinutleie in Norway
Hæhre & Isachsen has purchased 20 Doosan DA40 Stage IV/Tier 4 Final compliant articulated dump trucks – the largest Doosan ADT order in Scandinavia.

The previous record was also with Hæhre for 10 695 Doosan ADTs. With the 20 new DA40 ADTs, 51 of Hæhre’s 59 ADTs will be Doosan. Two of the remaining eight are dump trucks in sizes Doosan does not have in its range.

Rental business Hæhre & Isachsen Maskinutleie is part of BetonmastHæhre Anlegg - formerly called Hæhre, one of Norway's largest road and civil engineering contractors. Parent company Hæhre is an established user of Doosan/1239 Moxy ADTs, but has always had other brands as well. The group has grown very rapidly in recent years and now has more than 100 dump trucks, including ADTs, RDTs, small dumpers and tracked dumpers.

The new DA40s replace existing DA40 models in the Hæhre fleet and several more ADTs from other manufacturers. The Doosan DA40s form part of a very competitive package, including a comprehensive 24/7 service agreement with the Doosan dealer Rosendal Maskin in Askim.

Operators at Hæhre like the DA40 machines because of the abundant space in the cab, soft turning steering wheel and excellent visibility. Hæhre will continue to use the new DoosanConnnect wireless fleet and asset management system to monitor productivity, utilisation rate and fuel consumption.

Designed to meet increasing demand for fleet monitoring, machine-to-machine communication, machine intelligence and remote equipment monitoring, DoosanConnect monitors performance and security of machines and promotes preventative maintenance.  It is available as a standard feature on all new generation Doosan Stage IV compliant excavators from 14 tonnes, all new generation Doosan Stage IV compliant wheeled loaders and the new generation Doosan Stage IV compliant ADTs.

The new service allows owners and dealers to remotely monitor and communicate with Doosan machines via the DoosanConnect telematics website.  Also available for retrofitting in a kit form, the DoosanConnect system is supplied with a free three-year subscription with an optional service extension. Customers have their own account to manage the machines in their fleet using the system.
