695 Doosan has increased safety on its articulated dump truck (ADT) range with the addition of a levelling meter that uses rotation sensors on the front and rear chassis sections to warn the operator of the possibility of a body rollover.

The system provides clear graphical readouts in the cab monitor that show the position of the respective chassis sections.

Doosan has also developed a payload and cycle count meter for the DA30 and DA40 trucks. This system uses load sensors on both chassis sections to provide a read-out of payload. The payload is registered and counted in the main control unit once the load rises above 3tonnes. The system will not register an additional load until the truck has travelled at least 50m.
