The authorities in Phnom Penh plan to handle the city's endemic congestion problems. The first traffic tackling project is for the construction of a second flyover, which will be 15m wide by 420m long and connect Sen Sok district with Tuol Kork district. The project is expected to be financed by OCIC. Cambodia's first overpass is the Kbal Thnal Sky Bridge.

This forms part of a project for a 21km section of toll road, with its completion expected in 2022.
