Serbian connection on target

Work is progressing well on the Beska Bridge over the Danube River in Serbia.

Work is progressing well on the Beska Bridge over the Danube River in Serbia. Over 80% of the work for the 2.25km long bridge has now has been completed. Once it is complete, the bridge will form a key link in the Corridor 10 highway. In addition around 180km of the Corridor 10 motorway will be built in Serbia during 2011, running from Subotica through Novi Sad, Belgrade, Nis and Dimitrovgrad towards Vranje.

    Construction is on track for Serbia’s Nis-Dimitrovgrad motorway Corridor 10 project. The construction work of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad stretch is due for completion by the end of 2015.     Serbia has cemented its cooperation deal with Turkey for construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo motorway at an estimated cost of around €830 million.
