Two new road tunnels in Abu Dhabi are due to open at the end of this year.

Two new road tunnels in Abu Dhabi are due to open at the end of this year. The US$190.5 million project is being carried out by the 3424 Al Naboodah Contracting Company. One tunnel will measure 700m long and feature two lanes, connecting the Sultan bin Zayed Street and Bainunah Street. The other tunnel will also feature two lanes but will be just 540m long. The project also includes two new intersections on Bainunah Street and expanding part of Bainunah street to four-lanes.
