Myanmar elevated expressway project progress

Interest is strong in the project to build the Yangon Elevated Expressway Project in Myanmar. In all 12 firms applied during the tender process, with 10 companies having subsequently been shortlisted by Myanmar’s Construction Ministry. Much of the funding for the 1,928m bridge is being provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the form of a loan worth US$272.6 million.
