Doka Group expands with Australian acquisition

The Doka Group continues to expand its operations with the acquisition of an Australian company. Called Lubeca, this firm was the former formwork technology department of its previous owner, the Australian contractor Grocon. Doka acquired the formwork patent for the Lubeca Jumpform system, along with employees and a project portfolio from Grocon. The 203 Doka Group continues to expand its operations with the acquisition of an Australian company. Called Lubeca, this firm was the former formwork technology department of its previous owner, the Australian contractor Grocon. Doka acquired the formwork patent for the Lubeca Jumpform system, along with employees and a project portfolio from Grocon. The acquisition will strengthen Doka’s presence in Australia through its new Melbourne-based subsidiary operation, as well as in the Middle East and East Asia. Doka’s current worldwide network includes a total of 160 sales and logistics facilities in 70 countries. Lubeca's operations extend from the primary Australian market to Singapore, Malaysia and India to the UAE. In these markets the well proven Lubeca-Jumpform automatic climbing formwork is widely used. The integration of the Lubeca platform system offers customers an expanded product portfolio and provides a greater competitive edge for Doka. Lubeca customers will continue to be able to benefit from the advantages offered by Jumpform. At the same time they are able to access the added range of systems as well as complementary formwork services from Doka wherever the Lubeca portfolio needs to be supplemented.
