Croatia digs deep to finance River Sava bridge into Bosnia
Croatia is to pay €70 million as its share for a bridge across the River Sava near Gradiska, in Republika Srpska, part of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
A year ago, the European Commission set aside a €6.8 million grant for construction of the bridge.

Croatia is to pay €70 million as its share for a bridge across the River Sava near Gradiska, in Republika Srpska, part of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
A year ago, the European Commission set aside a €6.8 million grant for construction of the bridge.
The final contract for the Banja Luka-Prijedor motorway in Bosnia will be signed with China Shandong International and Technical Cooperation in September.
The construction and 30-year operating concession is with Republika Srpska, an autonomous region of Bosnia e Herzegovina. Value of the contract is around €297 million, according to Nedjo Trninic, the minister of transport for Republika Srpska.

Croatia’s minister of infrastructure, Oleg Butkovic, said a winner will be chosen to build the controversial Peljeski Bridge on the Adriatic Sea coast by summer 2017.
The project, valued at around €370 million, will be carried out in three phases.

The Bosnian Government and highway company Autoceste FBiH Mostar signed a contract with Turkish company Cengiz Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret for this section of the Corridor Vc highway.
