Construction work on new Mexican motorway link is underway

In Mexico work is now underway on the La Marquesa-Toluca highway. The project is costing some US$269.5 million in all. The construction is due for completion in December 2015. The work is being carried out jointly on the first stretch of the highway by Spanish contractor OHL working in partnership with local company La Peninsular.

In Mexico work is now underway on the La Marquesa-Toluca highway. The project is costing some US$269.5 million in all. The construction is due for completion in December 2015.     Work is underway on a major highway project in Victoria State, Australia. Geotechnical work and preliminary surveying is being carried out for the Monash Freeway Upgrade project. In all this project is worth some US$293.66 million (A$400 million). The geotechnical work includes testing of the road surface and stared on the stretch from Berwick-Dadenong North and will continue until late-February 2016. Meanwhile surveying is in progress at various locations along the freeway.
  • Highway work planned for Serbia

    A series of major highway construction and road repair projects is planned for Serbia. The World Bank (WB), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have all been in talks with the Serbian Government concerning funding for the work. Funding worth €408.46 million has been approved by the three banks for programme of highway construction and road repairs.
