Plans are being drawn up in Colombia for a number of new tertiary roads in Valle del Cauca Department. A new highway will be built in Valle del Cauca department, while a new road will improve connections between Mulalo and Loboguerrero.
Colombia’s National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has approved Consorcio Estructura Plural Via al Puerto to build the remaining 26.5km of the Buga-Buenaventura dual carriageway.
Construction costs will be just under US$358 million with another $645 million likely needed to maintain and operate the public-private partnership road for 30 years.
Works include construction of two tunnels, 12 bridges, 7.5km of cycle lanes, as well as maintenance of 111km of the main road, according to a report by El Pais new
Colombia's National Road Institute (Invias) has reported that engineering firm Enrique Davila Lozano (EDL) is carrying out the second phase of feasibility studies and designs for construction of the Conexion Pacifico-Orinoquia road.
The highway will link the Valle del Cauca department with the Orinoquia region.
Consortium Consorcio SMA-TEC 4 is compiling the inventory during the second phase.
Conexion Pacifico-Orinoquia will pass through Meta, Vichada, Guaviare, Casanare, Tolima, and Huila.
The
Colombia's National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has launched a near US$742.1 million (COP 1.4 trillion) tender for a double-lane road between Mulalo and Loboguerrero. All interested parties have ten working days to object the terms and conditions set for this tender. The project involves a road of 31.8km, including 11km of tunnels and more than 2km of bridges. Ten consortia have been pre-qualified for this project already.
