Colombia’s high bridge construction completion

Completion of construction work on Colombia Hisgaura Bridge will be achieved in July 2018. The new bridge will be the highest of the cable-stayed type in Latin America and forms part of the road connecting Malaga with Los Curos. The bridge measures 148.3m high by 653m long and work on its deck has been completed. The bridge has cost US$35.3 million to build, with the work being carried out by contractor Sacyr. The new bridge is located close to San Andres and the project has included a number of challenges

The new bridge will be the highest of the cable-stayed type in Latin America and forms part of the road connecting Malaga with Los Curos. The bridge measures 148.3m high by 653m long and work on its deck has been completed. The bridge has cost US$35.3 million to build, with the work being carried out by contractor Sacyr. The new bridge is located close to San Andres and the project has included a number of challenges, not the least of which is the mountainous terrain in the area through which the road passes.
