Bypass route including road and bridge for Samara in Russia

A bypass project is being planned for Samara in Russia, with construction work due to commence shortly.

The project will include the construction of a road section as well as a new bridge spanning the Volga River. Building the bypass is expected to cost US$1.82 billion. The bridge will measure 3.7km while the highway will be 90km in length. The work is due for completion in 2023 and the route will form part of the East-West corridor connecting Europe with China.
