Wirtgen’s improved stringless concrete paving system is being used on the A43 highway near Münster in Germany. The AutoPilot 2.0 is a 3D control system that helps increase efficiency and safety. The system is being used to deliver a new poured in-place concrete safety barrier that will separate the eastbound and westbound lanes of the A 43 Autobahn.
Marini’s new eTOWER 2500 asphalt plant on show at bauma 2013 is capable of producing 200tonnes/hour of asphalt. Details of the full Fayat-owned Marini brand range will also be available at the world’s biggest construction equipment show in the Fayat Group’s ‘Asphalt Pavilion’. The Pavilion, which will include touchscreen and videowall presentations, will include a special focus on Marini mobile and warm mix asphalt lines.
The bauma 2013 construction equipment exhibition in Munich is set to be the largest event in the show’s history. Organised by Messe München, this will be the 30th bauma exhibition in Munich and will run from the 15th-21st April 2013, with the show covering some 570,000m2 and attracting 3,300 exhibitors.
