A series of key crane deals have been made across the Middle East. In Bahrain, Modern Mechanical, Electrical and Transporting (MMET) has placed an order for multiple Demag and Terex all-terrain cranes. MMET has an existing fleet of 15 Terex and Demag cranes. Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe has showcased its new SK400DLC-9 building demolition machine.
The company says it will do test marketing during 2016 to further develop the model for competitive marketing and plans to release it for sale in Europe in 2017.
The new demolition machine is said to offer safe and speedy disassembly and reassembly (NEXT system) due to its boom connection method. The attachment piping is also side-mounted and accessible from the ground for easy maintenance and longevity
German firm Atlas has developed two new high performance truck loading cranes, the 186.3VB and the 129.3V. The cranes have a lower deadweight than previous models in this class and the 186.3VB model benefits from a centrally placed crane column that provides a large range of movement as well as high stability to both sides.
