Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
Wirtgen is broadening its recycling equipment line-up with its latest KMA220 RAP plant. This mobile machine has been designed to meet a need from contractors for a versatile plant that can be set up quickly when needed. The machine offers a mixing capacity of up to 220 tonnes/hour for the production of high-quality cold mixes for use on major highways carrying heavy traffic volumes from recycled material. The plant has a capacity of 20tonnes of Gussasphalt per hour (optional up to 20tonnes/hour), and was sold to the French company SMAC (belonging to the Colas Group) and will operate in the west of France near Rennes.
