Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
Ammann is offering its RSS 120-M Shredder, a mobile machine that prepares recycled asphalt for use in an asphalt plant. It is versatile as it can be used as a shredder, iron separator and screener. The machine can recycle asphalt that ranges in size from milled particles to larger pieces. The Ammann RSS 120-M can go from installation to production in just 30 minutes and is track-mounted for mobility.

The Ammann ACM Prime continuous asphalt mixing plant is the ultimate in mobility. Ideal for smaller contracts, it moves whenever and wherever you need to go. Everything is on wheels. Designed specifically for the North American market, the ACM Prime plant has a production capacity of 270-360tonnes/hour. The whole unit fits on two, two-axle trailers and remains on them upon arrival and during operation. To relocate the plant, the trailers are simply attached to a truck tractor unit and moved.
Mobility and versatility are key features of some of the latest asphalt plants now being offered. Ease of transport and quicker assembly and commissioning are capabilities seen on new asphalt plants introduced during 2019. The ability to use RAP is another important feature being seen in all of the sophisticated new plants coming to market.
