CIFA is celebrating its 90th year with a focus on the Francophone market, including Africa. A major part of celebrations will the official introduction into the French market of the K40H truck-mounted concrete boom pump. It is the largest of its type on three axels, according the company. The unit has as standard a five-section RZ folding system placing boom. The 4th and 5th boom sections are made of light and resistant CIFA Carbotech composite material. BOMAG’s powerful stabiliser is top-of-the-range

BOMAG has a new top-of-the-range stabiliser in the shape of its RS650 model. The firm also has a new designation for its recycler stabilisers and instead of the MPH models, these are now the RS machines. Power for the new RS650 comes from a diesel delivering 485kW and the model is said to offer a productivity increase of 10% over the earlier model. From 1 January 2018, the Hydraulic Attachment Tools division within Atlas Copco became part of Epiroc, the company that Atlas Copco plans to dividend out in mid-2018. From that date, all the division's current products will be delivered with Epiroc product branding. The division manufactures excavator attachment tools, such as hydraulic breakers, cutters, pulverisers, bucket crushers, shears, grapples and magnets. New Zealand highway deal for French contractor Vinci

The French firm Vinci has won the contract for extension works to the highway network in New Zealand capital Auckland. The deal is worth US$515 million and will be handled by Vinci’s New Zealand-based subsidiary HEB Construction. The work will take 36 months to complete and is for a new highway connector section joining the Upper Harbor Highway (State Highway 18) with the Northern Motorway (State Highway 1).
China’s Hubei Province sets infrastructure plans

Three new expressway projects are planned for China's Hubei Province. Building the new links will cost US$2.17 billion. One of the projects is for a 47.6km link of the route running from Zaoyang to Qianjiang and featuring two lanes in either direction. Another project is for a 24.9km stretch of the route from Qichun to Taihu, again with two lanes in either direction. The third project is for a 61.9km stretch of the route from Qianli to Jiangling.
