The biggest challenge in large-scale asphalting projects is maintaining a constant temperature of the mix. This is exactly where Fliegl’s ASW Thermo push-off trailer can help.

In contrast to conventional tipper vehicles, the Thermo push-off trailer enables controlled and even material discharge. This reduces material losses, prevents compaction problems and ensures precise dosing of the asphalt. In addition, the push-off trailer can be unloaded in low halls or under bridges - a clear advantage over tippers.

The new eABG 4820 electric drive paver from Ammann is currently the largest electric paver on the market, according to the company. It recently placed 1,200tonnes of asphalt in a day, while at the same time reducing CO2 emissions by 70%.

The paver uses a Variomatic screed and works at widths up to 6.5m. Paving output is 500tonnes/hour and maximum paving speed is 20m/minute. The hopper has a capacity of 12.7tonnes.

Hitachi is offering a range of excavators that are specially modified for use in certain applications. 

The ZX250LC-7 super long front (SLF), is assembled at the HCME factory in Amsterdam and suits duties such as dredging, loading and slope-finishing. The boom and arm design combines strength and versatility, allowing an extended working range of 18m.
