German company Pfreundt, a provider of weighing systems, is presenting a prototype for a new wheeled loader weighing system, which has initially been outfitted for markets in developing countries, for intralogistics and for agriculture and forestry. The new scale’s features include connection to the new Pfreundt web portal, self-assembly and calibration by dealers or customers, and a touch-screen with a simple, intuitive interface, similar to smartphones. Market launch is scheduled for 2014.

The Finnish company REMU will give a world premiere to its new screening plant. REMU specialises in developing screening plants for topsoil, and it says new re-engineered solutions will increase screening capacity and add value to contractors who are working with different materials from topsoil to compost and many other materials. Lintec’s Aggregate Cooling System (ACS) is described as a new, patented and fully containerised plant concept for the direct cooling of aggregates for concrete mixes. Being showcased at bauma, ACS is said by Lintec to work in a desert environment without the usual and costly addition of specifically produced ice.

Especially redesigned to allow hot and cold recycling, Lintec will be showcasing its new CSD 1500 asphalt mixing plant at bauma. With a capacity of 120 tonnes/hour, the new CSD 1500 enables the integration of a hot storage silo with a 50tonne capacity. Similar to all Lintec’s CSD line plants, the aggregates enter the screen drum through the front wall.
