INTERMAT sees the birth of Doosan’s latest arrival, the DL300-5 baby wheeled loader, the smallest machine in the South Korean firm’s DL-5 generation. Doosan’s launch of the 300-5 at Intermat comes only a few weeks after it unveiled the largest wheeled loader in the family, the DL550-5. This was also on display at the Paris exhibition. New European standard introduces ROPS for rotating telehandlers

A brand new European standard, expected later this year, will introduce ROPS, or roll over protection, for the cabs of rotating telehanders. Liebherr has taken the wraps off the R960 demolition rig, a 93.5 tonne crawler with a choice of 28m and 34m boom configurations. A replacement for the previous R954C, the R960 is powered by a 240kW Stage IV diesel engine and features the latest Liebherr Demolition Control (LDC) active safety system.

Prague-based Mitas has unveiled new sizes for its mobile crane and loader ranges. The Mitas CR-01 crane tyres are now available in 385/95R25 and 525/80R25 sizes and are designed for speeds of up to 80 km/h and 90 km/h respectively.
